Nearly 3 million people in the United States each year suffer from Fibromyalgia, yet there is very little research and no cure. The National Fibromyalgia Association is hosting an event to create awareness and raise money for the cause. In this campaign, Fibromyalgia is personified as voodoo dolls, illustrated over top of photographs. Fibromyalgia is known to have trigger points in the body, similar to when a voodoo doll is pricked. The event poster uses pink overlays similar to the illustrations in the advertisements along with dotted lines to connect back to the sewing of voodoo dolls.
